Adult’s Create with Clay (8 Week Workshop for Adults)
Join Katherine Kennedy for 8 weeks of hand-building with clay. Suitable for beginners, this workshop will guide participants through various hand-building and surface decoration techniques. If you would like to relax and work on your own projects, follow our hands-on lesson plans or even try the wheel, this class is perfect for you!
$30 cash glaze and firing fee due week 3
Tuesdays 1:30 -3:30 pm

SUPPLIES: Students need to supply the following tools and clay for the term:
1 x 10 kg bag white Earthenware clay – This is a good clay to start with for hand building and throwing. Only bring a quarter of the bag at a time wrapped in a plastic bag.
A set of basic tools including a sponge. Basic tools can be purchased in a set.
An apron and closed in shoes. Towel and large freezer bags.
A firing and glazing fee of $30 in week 3 to cover use of centre glazes and kiln.
ADULTS
Week Adult Clay: Adults do not have to follow lesson plan if they choose to focus more on a particular project in plan or even a project of their own. |
