Himalayan Jewellery Project – for charity Freedom Matters in Kathmandu, Nepal
Three months working in Nepal with deaf adults and human trafficking survivors. Helping to empower beneficiaries to develop designs, improve skills and production processes to enable the group to problem solve and create saleable jewellery for ethical buyers.
2012
Olympic Bottle Tree (2.5m x 2m) Tree of Inspiration commission for Wokingham Borough Council
Inspired by the Olympics and themes of the Cultural Olympiad. A participatory project, created by adults with learning disabilities, depicting positive messages about the Borough using 74 recycled plastic bottles. Designed to be transportable and illuminated so it could be displayed throughout the Borough.

Garden Creature Mosaic Planter (1.2m x 0.6m x 0.6m) Create to Learn project for Big Arts Week
Key Stage 2 (age 7-11) Gifted and Talented art class Gainsborough Community Primary School, Hackney, London
A 3 month project made using recycled materials designed primarily by the participants for use by the gardening club.
2005
Enlighten Jubilee Square, Brighton. Created by Spectral Arts (total height 6m, sculpture 1m)
A Christmas commission inspired by community workshops funded by the Urban Cultural Programme (Arts Council England) for Brighton & Hove City Council. I designed and fabricated the top sculpture and led some of the inspiration workshops.
